Sentries of the Heart are Ken Donaldson and Bill MacNee. We have been singing and recording together for a long time, aiming to breathe new life into covers of songs by our favourite classic writers like Dylan, Cohen, Morrison etc; judge for yourself how we do. Bill does the singing and Ken plays all the instruments, records, mixes and masters.

Time it was and what a time it was …… a collection of songs we have played together over the past twenty five years. It’s not our only favourite songs but it’s the ones we can do. Its taken five years to record and produce this collection – it’s a record of something – of friendship.

All tracks arranged by Ken Donaldson and Bill MacNee. Bill MacNee sings lead vocal on all tracks and plays accoustic guitar; Ken Donaldson sings backing vocals, plays guitars and programmed all VST instruments and recorded and mixed this collection. Alex Stevenson plays lead guitar on Helpless; Jen McLeish and Gill Hamilton sing backing vocals on Gold on them hills. Tracks were mastered at Brighton Mastering.
