Jim Vincent

Jim Vincent studied piano from a very early age with someone who himself had been a student of the great English pedagogue, Tobias Matthay. Although his career was eventually directed towards science, Jim maintained a strong — and for many years professional — interest in piano performance. In jazz, he performed with some of Europe's top improvisers, and made appearances at major jazz festivals and in BBC broadcast concerts.
